I was skeptical about getting decent greens without a proper fume hood, but the household chemical recipes here actually work. The section on layering browns and reddish tones on copper saved me hours of trial and error. It's a thin book, but every page earns its place on my bench.

I had no idea you could get a nice green patina on copper using stuff from the kitchen. The section on household chemicals is laid out so clearly that my first attempt actually worked. My only regret is not buying this sooner.
