The Foredom HP775 Duplex Spring Adapter is a precision-engineered accessory that adds a remarkable degree of extra flexibility to any Foredom flexible shaft system. The adapter connects at both ends using key-tip alignment — simply align each key tip within the slot of each shaft connector for a secure, reliable fit. The duplex spring components are subject to normal wear and can be replaced individually. Foredom recommends purchasing the HP7501 Sub-Assembly to avoid damaging the duplex spring during replacement.

Important Usage Guidelines

To maximize the lifespan of your HP775 Duplex Spring Adapter and ensure safe operation, please observe the following:

Do move the workpiece slightly further from the motor when using the Duplex Spring Adapter, to prevent sharp bends in the duplex spring.

Do not subject the connection to bends exceeding 45 degrees, as this will cause frequent breakage or kinking of the springs.

Do not use the HP775 with large buffs greater than 1 inch in diameter, aggressive burs, or chisel handpieces.

Do not exert excessive pressure on the work — let the speed of the tool do the work.
