Spinner Ring Maker - FRETZ

I was nervous about getting an even flare on both edges, but the concave mandrel makes it almost foolproof. My first spinner band came out with a nice smooth curve and no kinks. Way easier than trying to hammer it by hand.

The SRM-1 stamping mandrel flares the band edge evenly, which is exactly the tricky part I always messed up with homemade jigs. Using it with my rolling mill, the concave curve comes out consistent on both sides. My last three spinner rings fit together smoothly on the first try.

I've made maybe a dozen spinner rings since this arrived and the flared edges come out even every time, which was always the part I messed up doing it by hand. Took a little practice to get the pressure right on the stamping mandrel, but once I did it was quick.
