The rubber grips on these attachments really hold the irregular pieces steady during carving. Perfect for someone who does a lot of varied shapes.

I finally got around to testing the wooden base with a small brass plate, and it held everything perfectly steady. The variety of clamps in this 31-piece set really covers all the odd shapes I throw at it.
